Smitty’s Oyster House
Set in the unique waterfront in the Gibsons harbour, this restaurant is located within an old machine repair warehouse. The building character, with it’s heavy timber structure and metal cladding, is maintained including some of the old hoists and pulley systems. Simple coloured concrete floors industrial materials are used extensively throughout the building, and the large windows are opened to serve the outside patio.
